Her motherhood motto: Breathe, tomorrow is a new day. A favourite book: A Cy Twombly Monograph by Richard Leeman, the book itself is a work of art. Her go-to beauty item: Yves Saint Laurent Touche Eclat. A favourite flower: Vanda Orchid. Her pick me up: A bubble bath, a whole box of chocolates and a good night's sleep. Her guilty pleasure: Rugs, normally of the Moroccan or Turkish variety. Her dream-ticket item: A Dolce & Gabbana gold coin bag, I'm obsessed with antiquities. (pictured above, from Net-A-Porter.com). Her fashion splurge: Just about anything from the Dolce & Gabbana Summer 2014 collection (pictured above, Dolce & Gabbana's Almond blossom print bikini, from Net-A-Porter.com)Her family ritual: Traveling with my son Harper, a ritual he and I began early in his life – it’s a time when I don't need to worry about chores and schedules. What her son has taught her: To laugh a lot and not take myself too seriously. Harper reminds me everyday to delight in the simple things. On her playlist: Saskwatch, Talib Kweli and Eartha Kitt. A matinee movie: When I was younger, I loved any movie that involved Elvis. Her dream holiday: I'm long overdue for a trip to Italy and I would so love to stay at Le Sirenuse in Positano.

  1. Her favourite book: Fiesta, The Sun Also Rises by Ernest Hemingway. Her beauty indulgence: Weleda Body Oil and having a pedicure every other week. Her favourite flower: Gardenias and hyacinths. A special gift for baby: A Bonpoint layette. A jewel to celebrate: In my dreams I'd love a rose gold Cartier Love bracelet, I have been hinting now for five years. Her secret pick me up: A massage, long walk in the countryside or if I'm lucky enough to be near the sea, a swim solves everything. A favourite artwork: A Wandjina painting by Lily Karadada. Her guilty pleasure: macarons. A family ritual she loves most: Sunday bike rides to Hyde park in London with a picnic followed by a nap under the willow trees. On her playlist: I'm obsessed with Philip Glass' music at the moment, it's on repeat at our house – so calming. A Sunday matinee movie: A John Hughes movie marathon, always so fun. Her dream destination: Parrot Cay, Turks and Caicos.

  2. Her motherhood motto: Have fun. Her favourite book: I’m reading The Goldfinch by Donna Tartt at the moment, which I’m loving. Her beauty pick: Kiehls Crème de Corps. Her favourite flower: Open roses. Her secret pick-me-up: Exercise. A favourite artwork: My daughter made a painting for my husband recently that I love. Her ultimate jewel: A Cartier ring. Her guilty pleasure: Jaffas. Her dream-ticket item: I'd like a backpack by The Row (pictured above from Net-A-Porter.com). Her go-to piece: At the moment, my Zimmermann Carousel Inspector trench (from www.zimmermannwear.com). A family ritual she loves most: Friday night dinners. What her children have taught her: That most things can be fun.   2. Her motherhood motto: Breathe deeply and enjoy the moment. Her dream-ticket item: Saint Laurent tuxedo jumpsuit (from Net-A-Porter.com). Her favourite book: The Gift Of Rain by Tan Twan Eng, it’s so beautifully written, evocative and poetic or The Brain That Changes Itself by Norman Doidge, M.D. Her top beauty item: It would have to be my Lancôme Juicy Tube, in Cerise (no. 15). I take it everywhere with me, I’m addicted. Her favourite flower: Peonies, they’re magnificent and remind me of my Chinese Amah. Her secret pick me up: A handful of raw cacao nibs, they make me happy and put a spring in my step. A favourite artwork: Having been in Melbourne recently, I was mesmerised by Arthur Boyd’s Shaolhaven series. They are so vivid, you can feel the heat, dryness and stillness of the air only to be broken by the screech of a black cockatoo. Her guilty pleasure: Relishing in complete and utter silence, I love it. A family ritual she loves most: Bedtime – saying good-night to all my children, I feel such love, joy, awe and wonderment that my husband and I have created these curious little people. What her children have taught her: The true meaning of unconditional love. On her playlist: At the moment I'm obsessed with opera, especially Lakme’s Flower Duet sung by Dame Joan Sutherland. A Sunday matinee movie: I would only watch a Sunday movie if it was bleak and wet outside. It would be either Great Expectations, Wuthering Heights or Jane EyreDream destination: Greece staying at Amanzoe.

Her favourite book: anything by Joan Didion, her writing blows my mind. Her top beauty item:  Christian Dior's Milly-la-Forêt fragrance and yoga. Her favourite flower: peonies, they have an unfair advantage over other flowers. Her secret pick me up: Power naps. Her ultimate jewel: A Cartier jade cocktail ring. Her guilty pleasure: Diet Coke, it's an annual pleasure. Her go-to piece: A Josep Albers scarf from Hermès. A family ritual she loves most: Breaking away with one of the kids. What her children have taught her: How to have bottom-less, maddening amounts of love. On her playlist: Tom Waits, Johnny Cash, Edward Sharpe and The Presets. And then Avicii for the teenager. Dream destination: A secret Morrocan rihad – I don't love hotels. No matter how designed or beautiful they are I find them lonely.
