More is More: Tony Duquette Hutton Wilkinson The title says it all – he lived life to the fullest, threw amazing parties, created beautiful jewellery; he was a set designer, interior decorator, artist and costume designer. 

Lee By Lee Radziwill  I love looking at this book, it shines a light on Lee's great personal style along with her wonderful interiors.

  2. The World of Madeleine Castaing  Emily Evans Eerdmans The French antique dealer and interior designer was truly inspirational with an amazing sense of colour and design. (I would have loved to have lived in one of her houses!).

Jeremiah: A Romantic Vision Jeremiah Goodman One of my all time favourite books – the artist painted interiors in the most romantic style; his brilliant paintings brought him commissions from legendary decorators. 

The Book of Palms  Carl Friedrich Philipp von Martius  The quintessential book of palm trees, which I adore.​


     
Mark Rothko: the Works on Canvas David Anfam He has to be one of my favourite artists  because of his extraordinary use of colour and composition.
