Inspired by a solarized Man Ray picture, Kate Moss who better! – has teamed with luxury wallpaper house de Gournay to create an exquisite collection of silk wall coverings, specifically a silver-tinted anemone pattern set to become part of its permanent collection. It's a glorious and decadent backdrop to the Art Deco-themed London apartment Moss shares with her 14-year-old daughter Lila-Grace. Of the collaboration, which features in this month's Architectural Digest, the model said“I’ve always loved what they do. It’s like vintage jewellery — it’s special." Indeed, the papers play to Moss's very specific whims – in the hallway, above, de Gournay's Daybreak wallpaper was designed to evoke "the feeling of when the sun is just coming up at a [music] festival, and you have that glowy light. This one is pastels and neons – quite psychedelic." Meantime, the model's weekend guests are in for a treat given the wallpapers will soon decorate the country home where she regularly plays host. Moss said in a statement: “I love those old movies with glamorous bathrooms where they have chaise longues. My bathroom in the country has a chesterfield, and when I have my birthday parties there, we always end up hanging out in it. It’s got a record player, it’s cozy, it’s fun— there’s potions and lotions and smelly things. Everyone’s welcome.”

The Painted Lady: above, de Gournay’s hand-painted Anemones on custom Xuan paper in dusk covers her master bathroom; below, an Irving Penn portrait of the model sits above a mirrored-and-stone hearth, behind a claw-foot tub by Drummonds. Architectural Digest reports Moss's luxe master bathroom also features a vintage crystal chandelier from James Worrall, along with a mirrored vanity lined with antique perfume bottles and a wall of framed black-and-white photographs, including a diamond-dust Elvis, Elizabeth Taylor, David Bowie, and a triptych of Moss with Alexander McQueen.
